Farewell

Friends,

It is with a sigh, and a bit of a groan, that I write this today. I've told myself before 'Hey, it's time to quit', but I never committed to it. Well, I am today.

As much fun as I have had over the last decade (?) playing this game I think it's time to call it quits for good. My time as Ario "Speedwagon" Nessaja has been extremely fun, and brought a life into this game that I didn't think existed anymore. Goofing around in Stavenn, abusing Incinerate as a Noctu, and then getting off lucky kills on Antiochians with an axe has been the most fun I've had on this game in a long while.

I want to give thanks to Esmyrsia for supporting my terrible ideas when I ran the Unspeakable Sect for a week or two. Now you all have to deal with those Tenets I wrote up within a few minutes span. I hope you enjoy them. 🙂

I also want to thank Raya, Ladaia, Aulani, and Caelya for being the best ladies in game ever.

Ahkan, Iluv, Vasharr, Iniar, Zenigra, Ihsan, Eldreth, and Iriaen get my thanks for encouraging me and being just all-around fun people to deal with. (Iniar less so. Traitor. 🙂 )

Khizan, Septus, and Kryss - thanks for killing me.

Dreacor - I still hate Outrider. I still hate you for choosing that class.

Alvetta, and Sealia - Thanks for welcoming Ario in Kinsarmar, and being all around nice people.

Much love goes to Kanthari for supporting me through all of my characters, and still willing to reply to my AIM messages to talk nonsense about this game.

I'm missing a lot of people here, to be honest, but if you've ever interacted with Ario on any level understand that I love you for even logging into this game and engaging. There are plenty of you that simply made my day by joining in to fight, or banter, with me.

Should any of you wish to reach out to me for anything, simply email at: corysmoot@outlook.com

With that, I bid you all farewell from Texas,
Cory

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Letum, in the year 108 AM.
