Earthen Children

Earthen Children
With diamond rubble as their teeth,
Crunching,
Munching,
All beneath.

In granite skin and gold-lit veins,
Sluicing,
Sweeping,
Your remains.

By cavernous throats and clay tongues,
Gutteral,
Grating,
The dirge unsung.

A frozen heart and undead hymn,
Weaving,
Withering,
The rockling's din.

Penned by my hand on Kinsday, the 21st of Lanosian, in the year 491 MA.
