Fire Tribute

Written by: Dhienari Lacinier Swara, Body Awakened

Oh, the many faces of fire
A fireplace, soothing, vivid, warm
An inferno, severe, dire
Blazing, creating its own form

Burn, scorch within the heart and soul
Purify, cleanse, consume, renew
Only in ashes be made whole
In charred remains, see what is true

Desires, passions, how they burn
Flame melting impurities, lies
Now the new start for which we yearn
Like the phoenix, finally rise

Penned by my hand on Kinsday, the 20th of Haernos, in the year 482 MA.
